Pull every guest review from any Airbnb listing in under a minute — no scraping, no copy-paste.

Why export Airbnb reviews

Airbnb's UI shows reviews paginated five at a time with no export. For hosts comparing properties, agencies managing portfolios, or analysts studying short-term-rental sentiment, that's hours of scrolling. An export gives you the full review history as a single spreadsheet you can pivot, filter, and chart.

  • Host self-audit — Spot recurring complaints (noise, cleanliness, check-in) before they cost you Superhost status.
  • Property-manager portfolio review — Aggregate sentiment across all listings under your management to brief owners with data.
  • Vacation-rental market research — Compare ratings and review velocity across competitor listings in a destination.
  • Guest-language insights — See which countries your guests come from and what they value most.

How to export — step by step

Step 1: Copy the Airbnb listing URL

Any public Airbnb room URL works — for example https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/1234567. The /reviews suffix is optional.

Step 2: Paste on ExportComments.com

Open the Airbnb Reviews Exporter and paste the URL into the input.

Step 3: Click "Start Export Process"

ExportComments paginates through every review including host responses. Large listings with 500+ reviews finish in a couple of minutes.

Step 4: Download Excel / CSV / JSON

Pick the format you need. Excel is best for filtering and pivot tables; JSON is best for piping into BI tools.

Inside the export — what fields you get

  • Author — Guest display name as shown on Airbnb.
  • Author ID — Stable Airbnb profile identifier — survives display-name changes.
  • Profile URL — Direct link to the guest's Airbnb profile.
  • Profile Photo — Hosted avatar URL.
  • Date — ISO timestamp of when the review was posted.
  • Rating — Numeric star rating the guest left (1–5).
  • Message — Full review text.
  • Review Highlight — Airbnb's algorithmic excerpt of the review — useful as a TL;DR column.
  • Location — Guest's stated city/country.
  • Language — Detected review language.
  • Super Host — Boolean — was the host a Superhost when the review was written?

Common workflows

  • Sentiment pivot — Drop the review text into the AI Sentiment Analysis add-on to score each row positive / neutral / negative.
  • Competitor benchmarking — Run the exporter on three competing listings in the same city and compare average ratings + complaint themes.
  • Translation pipeline — Filter by Language column, then batch-translate non-English reviews to read what international guests are saying.

Plan limits & API access

Free 100 / Personal 5,000 / Premium 50,000 / Business 250,000 comments per export. See pricing for the full breakdown. The REST API is available on Premium and Business plans.

FAQ
